VTM (Virtual Teller Machine) Krung Thai Bank
KTB is the first and the only one bank in Thailand who provide unique digital banking service through VTM

Concept and objectives: The concepts and objectives of Krungthai Bank Virtual Teller Machine (VTM) are inspired by the Bank’s Core Value, especially the ‘Innovation’ element. The Bank developed the first VTM, a One-Stop-Service machine to serve the customers with the greatest convenience and best services.
Reasons behind: The Bank aspires to elevate the standard of retail customer services by increasing digital banking service channels. Therefore, the VTM has been invented to enhance customers’ satisfaction and convenience.
State of competition: KTB is the first and the only one bank who provide unique digital banking service through VTM including opening new account and issuing physical debit card. In other traditional bank, both services need to be taken care by teller in branch only.
Sources of inspiration: Based on the Core value of the Bank as FIRST – Firm, Innovation, Responsibility, Service, and Teamwork and the goal to become paperless Organization, the VTM integrates Bank’s service, innovation, creativity and concerning of the environment all in one machine.
Departments involved: The project initiators are IT Group, Network Strategy Team, Electronic Banking Product Development and Vendor.
Main results so far: We already installed 2 VTMs, Siam paragon and central ladprao. By 2016, Bank will launch 3 more VTMs in potential locations, including at Siam Paragon, Central Ladprao, Central World Plaza, The Mall Bangkapi and on Prachautis Road (Toongkru).
