The Initiative

The Efma–Accenture Banking Innovation programme is a joint initiative from Efma and Accenture, which aims to identify and celebrate the most innovative projects in the retail banking sector at a global level. Efma and Accenture launched this initiative with the aim of sharing worldwide best practices in the Retail Banking Distribution and Marketing arena.

All banks are encouraged to identify their most innovative initiatives in eight categories (“Workforce Empowerment & behavior”, “Digital Marketing”, “Big Data, Analytics and AI”, “Phygital Distribution”, “Customer Experience & Engagement”, “New Business Ecosystem”, “Best New Product or Service” and “Wallets & Payments) and post them on this portal.

Awards Ceremony

The best innovation in each category will be awarded during a dedicated event, open to all banking players, which will be held in Rome on 25 October 2017.
Moreover, two additional awards will be assigned by the Innovation Award Committee to identified banking players in the following categories:
Most Disruptive Innovation & Global Innovator.
