AIG On the Go is our way of raising greater awareness about safer driving and encouraging more drivers, like yourself, to translate safer driving into dollar savings. Using telematics, AIG On the Go scores your driving performance against certain key driving parameters, such as acceleration, speed, braking and cornering. Based on that score, AIG offers up to 15% off your AIG vehicle insurance premium. With more than 15,000+ downloads, “AIG On The Go” has clocked more than 5 million kilometres (five times the targeted 1 million kilometres in the first 12 months ) involving more than 400K+ trips recorded since launch with total transacted attributed premium exceeding 3.5 Million SGD.
There has been an increase in AIG’s brand equity in the market since this solution launch with an improved perception of AIG pushing for safer communities and active care, which are a reflection of our core values. We target to use this tool to engage the customers towards road safety and safe driving habits in the region and where applicable, pass improved driving behaviour savings in terms of better insurance premiums to our customers and rightfully so.To add, we leveraged “AIG On the Go” in collaboration with Roads.sg which is Singapore’s leading community which aggregates road accidents all across Singapore and launched a Telematics education video. We have had 56K+ views till date. It was broadcasted on Roads.sg community driven Facebook page and we have seen a wide engagement with the comments posted from users.
