With more than 23 years of experience in electronic payments and card technology, Randa Bdeir has led key strategic initiatives that have significantly advanced the electronic payments industry in Lebanon and the region.
Mrs. Bdeir pioneered the introduction of the card business in 1994 to the Lebanese and the Syrian market during her 11 years at Fransabank.
She moved to Bank Audi in 2004 as Head of the e-Payment Solutions and Card Technology,
She Increased Bank Audi’s market share in the payments industry from 1% to 47% over a 10year timeline, allowing the Bank to make a successful exit and Introduced some of the most game-changing payment products to Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan; Grew the Bank’s business exponentially and introduced products and marketing innovation to the Middle East — such as launching NFC payment technology; “Tap2Pay”.
Launched the “Cloud Pay Platform” — which is the converged E-wallet that embraces the future of digital payment through HCE technology.
Besides sitting on the board of MasterCard as a Member of the advisory board of MasterCard Worldwide since 2000, Bdeir is a Board of Directors member for the International Chamber of Commerce and the Worldwide Alumni Association of AUB (WAAUB).
In May 2018, Randa Bdeir joined Credit Libanais as a Group Head of E-Payment Solutions and Card Technology and as a Deputy General Manager; where will be her next challenge.
