With over 30 years’ experience in IT and Banking, Peter Redshaw is the Global Manager for Gartner’s Banking and Investment Services (BIS) Research team. His team's two key initiatives focus on the hottest areas in BIS and comprise “Delivering the Digital Banking Experience” and “Designing Operations and Architectures for the Digital Bank”
Overall, this is all focused on helping banks to transform themselves and become digital platforms that can support many business models. Peter manages anlysts who focus on topics such as: digital banking, bank of the future, customer experience, innovation, blockchain, fintech, digital payments, transaction banking, core banking renewal, bank system architecture, data and analytics, wealth and asset management.
Mr. Redshaw joined Gartner in 2000, and before that he was a Finance/Business Consultant at Capgemini (IT Services), where he was involved in IT project work for numerous clients in the financial services sector. He worked in the IT industry for 16 years before joining Gartner. During his employment at CAP Scientific, Software Sciences and Capgemini, he worked on multiple IT projects and across all life cycle stages, from requirements and design to development, testing, implementation and operation.
