Meral is a product development and customer journey expert with a communications focus. She is currently a professor of marketing at Bogazici University in Turkey and a researcher at Université Paris – Sud. Her research focuses on online communities in financial services. As a senior advisor she is working on growth mind set and digital transformations. She has also written a variety of research papers on topics such as segmentation in the Turkish banking industry and consumers' behaviors related to digital channels. Prior to entering the academic world, she worked for 10+ years for a number of Turkish and international financial institutions. She has experience in developing and launching several retail banking products and services.
