Bio:

Adrian brings with him over 17 years of working experience in the field of banking, management consulting, economic research and the world of academia. Adrian is currently the Head of Strategic Projects and Business Planning for the National Bank of Abu Dhabi and he’s been with them for the past 3 years. Prior to that, his last role was as the Senior Strategy Manager in the Group Strategy function of Emirates NBD where he spent 3 years as well and led a number of strategic projects across the banking group and worked in the integration of the erstwhile Emirates Bank and National Bank of Dubai. Overall, he has got 6 years of Middle East banking experience working in the mass, affluent and private banking customer segments. Before his Middle East experience, Adrian was with McKinsey & Company where he served banking clients across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines. He was one of the core members of McKinsey's Financial Industry Group where he has led the personal financial services revenue and profit pool analysis for Southeast Asia and has contributed research pieces towards the development of knowledge management in McKinsey. Adrian started his career in the field of academia as a lecturer in Economics and was an Economist in a local Malaysian bank prior to joining McKinsey. He holds a Master in Business Administration from University of Hull and Bachelor of Economics from University of London.
