She has more than 23 years of experience in the financial services industry, where she has held a number of national and international senior management positions with leading financial institutions and technology companies.
She has broad consultative selling and marketing expertise as well as substantial knowledge of business operations in banking, capital markets and insurance.
Prior to joining Microsoft in December 2013, Monique was the Financial Services Industry Strategist for the growth markets of HP, leading business development in this key industry vertical.
Monique served as interim Industry Lead for the worldwide Financial Services Industry, in addition to her role as Global Director Sales Enablement and Global Marketing Director.Before joining HP, Monique was a key member of Fortis Bank where she led future retail banking and multichannel strategies.
She served as General Manager for Fortis in the Czech Republic and as Business Development Manager within the Wholesale Banking and Treasury Division of Fortis where she led international expansion across Europe.
She started her career as a Retail Bank Director for one of Fortis major branches in the Netherlands.When she is not on business travel, Monique spends most of her free time with her three horses in Amsterdam or enjoys her olive yard in Spain. Her other interests include art and hiking.
