Head of Retail Banking And Member of the Management Committee - LCL Marc Oppenheim has been Marketing & Commercial Director and a member of the Management Committee since 1 January 2007. In March 2006, he was appointed Director of Project Development and Processes at LCL, reporting to the Deputy Chief Executive Officer. He joined Crédit Lyonnais in September 1993 as Auditor, before becoming Project Manager and Assistant Supervisor at the Internal Audit Department. He was then appointed Head of the Retail Branches Division in Saint-Denis (1997), then Director of Retail/Self-Employed Markets (1999). He became Head of Multi-Channel Contact Centres in Paris in June 2001 as part of the project to set up call centres for Retail/Self-Employed Banking. He was then given responsibility for the Operations Division for Retail/Self-Employed Back Offices (East) and for managing the electronic banking and estate planning processes. Marc Oppenheim began his career in 1985 with Thomson Grand Public, as Assistant to the Chief Financial Officer. He joined Compagnie Générale Maritime as Assistant to the Marketing Director in London en 1989, then, in February 1991, he was assigned to the project to set up a network of agents in Asia. Marc Oppenheim is a graduate of ESSEC Business School (1988).
