Jack has more than 20 years of experience in Business Banking and performed various roles within ING; from direct sales positions to (sales) management, business development and marketing positions. In these roles there has always been a direct link between Business Banking and innovation.
The last three years Jack worked for ING Direct in Italy. In co-creation with international FinTechs ING Italy has launched an innovative digital lending proposition for Italian SME entrepreneurs: within 10 minutes Italian SMEs can get an answer to a loan application up to € 100.000,-. Jack returned to ING The Netherlands recently in the role of Area Lead Business Banking. In this new role Jack is responsible for the digitalization of the Business Banking proposition, new business model development and innovation. Currently Jack and his teams are working on beyond banking services and launching a platform (ecosystem) proposition for Dutch SMEs.
Jack holds a Master degree in General Management from Nyenrode Business University in The Netherlands and a Master in Strategic Marketing Leadership from Henley Business School in the United Kingdom. Jack is married and has three children.
