Vice President, Head of FinTech
Dion Lisle has been in FinTech since before the term was used. Initially he entered FinTech through PKI Security Solutions used to enhance trade and treasury transactions. Later he joined the Fintech revolution as employee #12 at Obopay, an early leader in the move to pay with your phone.
As part of an investment and commercial deal he negotiated with Citibank, Dion joined Citibank to lead their early foray into mobile banking as an early member of Citibank’s Venture & Innovation team. Lisle owned the mobile roadmap for Citibank around the globe and across retail and commercial banking and payments, covering projects in Peru, Japan, Brazil, Mexico, UK and in the US. Dion led the first commercial launch of mobile payments by a major US bank.
After leading mobile payments in a digital startup, Dion joined First Data Ventures to drive the largest payments processor in the world into the world of Venture Investing. Here he discovered the power of the Blockchain, which led to his current role as the Head of Fintech for Capgemini.
