He also holds an MBA from Wharton Business School where he specialized in Finance PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE Mr. Trascasa is the global leader of BCG´s Retail Banking Practice Mr. Trascasa is the leader of the Financial Service area in Spain and Portugal and has participated in many projects within the banking and insurance sector. Some example of this work include: Development of a pan-European strategy for one of the three largest European Consumer Finance players Defining Management and Cross Selling strategies based on customer information (Customer Relationship Management) for 10 commercial banks in Spain, France, Portugal, Italy, Switzerland and Brazil Design and implementation of the strategic agenda for two of the top 5 savings banks in Spain Development of the growth strategy for a regional savings bank Launch of a new financial supermarket Definition of the commercial strategy for a large commercial bank and a large savings bank Definition of the Consumer Finance strategy for the largest Spanish operator Definition of the strategy and development of a network of bank branches specialized in medium-sized companies Definition of the Pan-European strategy for one of the largest banking institutions in the country Definition and implementation of a new risk circuit for medium-sized companies Restructuring and cost reduction for the branch network of a global services bank Re-engineering of Central Services in a large commercial bank Definition of the strategy and organization structure for one of the top ten largest insurance companies in Spain Definition of the merging strategy of two large Spanish insurance companies In addition, Mr. Trascasa has participated in numerous conferences and debates where he has presented different studies on bancassurance, phone banking, strategies on financial products and services, and multichannel management
