SME Banking Coffee: Online session series on Partnerships
A session that can be actively attended live or watched in replay to bring you answers on hot SME questions, delivered by C-level key note speakers and co-moderated by field experts and senior advisors from Mastercard. The main difference comparing to outdated webinars is the active participation of most participants in the discussion triggered by a short key note speech, live polls and best practices sharing. Series of 3 online sessions will be concluded in a joint Efma/Mastercard white paper.
45 minutes session divided in 4 main parts: key note speech, Q&As, moderated discussion with all participants, summary and key take-aways
once a month, always on Tuesday at 2pm GMT+1/ 8am NY/ 5pm Dubai/ 9pm Singapore.
SME Banking Podcasts: Series with global SME visionary bankers
A 1-to-1 interview/discussion with selected senior SME Banker from well-recognized financial institution in an informal manner. Each podcast will be led about personal motivation, leadership, work passion, including a few business-oriented questions. The bankers are selected by Efma and Mastercard committee, based on their bank's performance in SME Banking (innovations, SME initiatives, business results, visibility, etc.) leaving aside their size, market share or existence in the market. Each podcast will serve as a nomination for the Banker of the Year competition

Together with our partners, we try to meet your current needs and offer a snapshot of market trends for you to get inspired through winning strategies developed on other continents.
Online library of different formats (from market news, bankers' interviews and case studies of innovative initiatives all the way to in-depth studies and reports compiling many views and benchmarks) From September 2020 we are launching brand new podcast series "SME at a glance: Expert views on the news" and together with Efma´s senior advisors we are focusing on recent news and trends in SME landscape globally, highlighting top stories and share our expert views.

World SME Banking 2020
This SME Banking Summit is the annual must-attend summit for heads of SME banking worldwide to share challenges and best practices. World SME banking 2020 in Milan aims to help banks growing their SME business and profit by investigating new and disruptive ways to acquire SME customers while optimizing their operations, decreasing their overall cost to serve, and minimizing their risk exposure.

2020 SME Banking Awards presented by Efma and Mastercard
Every successful community needs to have a benchmark. Following many great initiatives in SME, we decided to launch specialized awards in SME Banking. An initiative to help institutions in positioning as innovation leaders while showcasing their SME strategy and vision.
In the very first edition of the SME Banking Awards we have decided to recognize people/institutions in two categories:
- - SME Banker of the Year
- - SME Bank of the Year
Format and voting
Nominees in both categories were selected by Efma and Mastercard committee and presented in a
series of articles
(SME Bank of the Year) and
(SME Banker of the year) between June 2020 and January 2021.
The voting phase will take place online and voters will choose 3 best in each category via dedicated voting page between 18th and 28th January 2021.
Votes of online voters will count for 50% of the final scores, the remaining 50% will be decided by the Jury Committee selected by Efma and Mastercard.
Winners of both categories will be announced at Virtual SME Banking Awards 2020 held on 16thFebruary 2021 at 2pm CET | 8am EST | 9pm SGTFind out more
