Maximizing the opportunities for better customer understanding and communication
The wide-ranging, rapid increase in the use of social networking sites by a large proportion of Europeans as a whole is likely to have a considerable influence on the way banks communicate and interact with many of their customers in the future.
The aim of this new one-day Efma conference is to apprehend the impact of the boom in social networking sites, such as Facebook, You Tube, Blogging, etc. and to analyse the strategic and practical implications for banks and financial services companies.
Keynote presentations will explain the development of various social networking sites and how this is affecting customer behaviour and communication with customers. More detailed presentations will then follow on how financial services companies can respond and use the social networking revolution to their advantage. Some banks in Europe are much more advanced than others in having a proactive social networking policy and approach for both their customers and staff.
This is an essential catch-up event intended to enable all leading marketing and customer communication executives to obtain a better understanding of the developments taking place and the opportunities available to capitalize on this trend.
The event will have speaker panels and interactive sessions to facilitate exchanges of information and ideas between a strictly limited audience of senior European banking executives.
