Under Efma by-laws, only  financial institutions can be full members of the association: commercial banks, private banks, merchant banks, cooperative and mutual banks, savings banks, insurance companies, insurance mutuals, bankinsurance companies, post office financial organisations, stockbroking firms, specialised credit institutions, payment systems, etc.
