Operational Excellence Advisory Council
The Efma Operational Excellence Advisory Council was formed in 2010 and its founding meeting was hosted by Barclays Bank in London on May 6th. Its membership consists of an exclusive group of Heads of Operations from leading retail banking institutions across Europe.
The Operational Excellence Advisory Council meets 4 times a year and focuses on the following issue:
Transforming the financial services operating model to boost efficiency and performance

Please find below all dates of our series of meetings in 2010:
- 6 May 2010 in London (hosted by Barclays Bank)
- 29 September 2010 in Lisbon (hosted by Millennium bcp)
- 1 December 2010 in Paris (location to be announced later)
- Date in Q1 2011 to be announced later
The meetings generally begin at around 10:00am and conclude at 4.00pm, thus allowing participants to travel on the same day.
